Introduction: M. Plans stands for Master of Planning. The duration of this course is 2-year including the practical exams and examination period. This postgraduate level programme offers an in-depth study of Planning and structuring which can be used for a fundamental ecosystem for living purpose. The course mainly involves the study of sustainable urban development, understanding of the environment and economics and knowledge of sociology.
Master of Planning incorporates elements of both urban development and urban design. M. Plan candidates explore urban Infrastructure, Housing and Community Planning, Urban Ecology and environmental planning, development of urban areas and more. After the completion of Master of planning, they have massive scope establishing their career in various sectors such as Property Development Companies, Education and Research Centre, Property Development Companies, Urban Planning and Design Bodies, Transport and Environmental Planning Consultancies at the following position, Project Manager, assistant professor, Urban Architect etc.
