Introduction: If you have completed your MBBS course and planning to continue your education, then you should check out the M. Ch course. M.Ch full form is Master of Chirurgiae. Chirirgiae is a Latin word, and it means Surgery. That means this is also a course of Master in Surgery. There are 1500 seats for this course at the Medical Council of India, and you will have to work very hard if you wish to join this course. There are many specializations that you will be able to choose in this course, but the most popular ones are Urology, Neuro Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Gastroenterology Surgery, and Cardio-Thoracic Surgery.
Ch course can be done after MBBS or M.S. as well. If you are doing it after MBBS, then it is going to be a five-year course, and if you do it after M.S., then it is just a three-year course. You will have to work really hard if you wish to get admission into this course as there are just very few seats available. The competition is very high every year for this course.
M.Ch Course Eligibility Criteria:
You should have completed your 10+2 for getting admission into the M. Ch course. You should score 60 percent marks in the last exam.
The main subjects in 10+2 should be Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
You will have to clear your MBBS for getting admission into the M. Ch three-year program or complete M.S. to enroll in a three-year program.
You need to clear the NEET-PG entrance test for getting admission into the course.
