Vellore Institute Of Technology

Located in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, Vellore Institute Of Technology is one of the best institutes in India. It was initially founded as an Engineering college in the year 1984 by G Viswanathan. It was formed under the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act 1956, section 3. Apart from just Vellore, there are three other campuses as well, in Amaravati, Chennai and Bhopal.

All the four campuses are managed by the VIT institutes only. It is a private deemed university and it has a campus of 372 acres. Vellore Institute Of Technology has 300 plus international partners. This institute makes sure to provide world-class education to the students. There are some of the best professors in this institute and the number is almost 190 plus. The admission into this institute is done based on entrance based exam. They offer under graduation, post graduation and a few integrated courses as well.
