SRM Easwari Engineering Collegeor SRM EEC was established in the year 1996, situated at Ramapuram, Chennai. It is a private self-financing or private institute which is founded by the Sri Ramaswamy Memorial (SRM) group with the approval of the Government of Tamil Nadu. In addition, it is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and affiliated with Anna University Chennai. Earlier, it was affiliated with the University of Madras.

The institute offers Undergraduate and Post-Graduate courses in Technology and Engineering. Admission to this college is based on relevant entrance exams like TNEA and TANCET for the engineering programme. The science and human departments offer subjects like chemistry, Maths, Counselling, Physical education.

Engineering college has seven academic blocks & two workshop blocks, mechanical engineering block, electronics block, civil engineering block and two workshop blocks. The college has a food court, supermarket, canteen, telecom facilities, bank with ATM, departmental stores and other facilities.
