Institute of Medical Sciences was established in the year 1960. The college is located in Banaras, Varanasi. It is affiliated to the Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi. They offer you education in three different streams like Dental Sciences, Ayurveda and Medicine. The college is having more than 33 departments for modern medicine. Along with that, they also have 10 departments for super-specialities, eleven departments for Ayurveda and four departments for dental science. They also have a school for nursing. IMS Varanasi is also having approval from the Medical Council of India. It offers both post graduation and under graduation courses for the students.
