Daulat Ram College was founded in 1960 by the Philanthropist Daulat Ram Gupta. It is situated in the North Campus of Delhi University and is affiliated with the University of Delhi. This college is awarded by the NAAC with Grade ‘A` and approved by the University Grants Commission. It has been ranked 15th amongst numerous institutions for Arts stream, ranked 7th for Science by India Today in the year 2020. The institute provides various facilities including a hostel facility, Library facility, Laboratories, Computer Labs, food-court facility, hostel facility for girls and boys separately.
This college offers 55 courses that are spread over the Arts, Commerce, and Science stream at the UG and PG levels. It also offers numerous certificate courses. The best thing about this institute is that department of science of the institute is awarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Biotechnology under the Government of India.
