College of Engineering

The College of Engineering (Andhra University College of Engineering) is one of the pioneer engineering colleges in Visakhapatnam and is also known as the College of Engineering (A). It was established in the year of 1946 before the independence of the country. In the year of 1955, it moved to the North area of the Andhra University, situated at Visakhapatnam. It has been supported by the Technical Education Quality Improve Programme ( TEQIP ). The college has been approved by the NBA and affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation (NAAC ).

This institute has been ranked at 69 by NIRF among engineering colleges. It offers 17 Undergraduate courses such as B.E., B.tech, B.Arch and 35 Postgraduate courses such as ME, M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc and M.Planning, etc along with advanced research. The admission to the Andhra university college of engineering is based on the national level entrance exam such as JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.
