Established in 1997, C. V. Raman Global University is an engineering & management institution. The institute formally comes under the CV Raman Group of Institutions. It is located in Bhubaneswar and certified by Biju Patnaik University of Technology & NBA (National Board of Accreditation). Various UG and PG courses in streams of engineering & technology, science, and management have been offered to students.

The university also offers a study of MBA course and Master of Computer Applications. With an 'A' Grade, the college is accredited by National Assessment & Accreditation Council. Moreover, it secured a top position among the five leading engineering colleges in Odisha. In addition, it is positioned 89^th rank among engineering institutions by the NIRF.
