Bishop Moore College

Bishop Moore College was established in 1987 and affiliated with the Kerala University. The campus is situated in Mavelikkara, the Alappuzha district of Kerala. The college is accredited to National Assessment and Accreditation (NAAC) with Grade 'A`; approved by University Grants Commission. At present, it offers 16 courses under 3 streams namely Commerce, Science, and Arts. At the Undergraduate level and Postgraduate level, it offers six courses in the science stream namely Mathematics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Physics, and Biotechnology. M.Com course is not being offered for the last two years.

It also provides several scholarships like Scholarship to Muslim Students, University Merit Scholarship, Indira Gandhi PG Scholarship for the single girl child, highest-ranking scholarship, etc. Over few years, this college has excellent placement records along with facilities like library facility and auditorium, and sports field facility.
