Aliah University

In the 2008-2009 school year, Aliah University began its long and illustrious history, full of promise and possibility. By bringing together the best of both old and new, it is anticipated that this university would become a model of academic excellence.

Having been designated as a minority education institution in accordance with Section 3 (3) of the Aliah University Act of 2007, it is able to provide services to underrepresented student populations.

The Government of West Bengal's Division of Minority Affairs & Madrasah Education oversees Aliah University, which operates independently. This University is intended to play a pivotal and leading role in bridging the gap between the socially and educationally underprivileged strata that make up the Minorities and the rest of society.

The goal of this institution is to foster and graduate individuals who are intellectually, morally, and socially well-rounded, and who will go on to achieve success in any profession they pursue.
